First up is the Battle Sisters Squad – the mainstay of every Adepta Sororitas army across the Imperium. This unit is armed with a mix of holy boltguns, flamers and storm bolters with which to purge both the heretic and the witch. Check out the sister raising high the Simulacrum, a blessed relic that exhorts the Battle Sisters to fight with utmost zeal. Next up is the Seraphim Squad, one of the most iconic units of the Adepta Sororitas. As the advanced guard of the Battle Sisters army, they swoop over the battlefield bringing down the Emperor’s judgement on angel’s wings. The darker side of the Adepta Sororitas is also represented in the form of four Sisters Repentia, each filled with an unquenchable desire for atonement. These chastened penitents are accompanied by a ruthless overseer – a Repentia Superior – who carries a pair of neural whips with which to ‘encourage’ her charges. On the topic of crime and punishment, the Sisters of Battle Army Set features a number of convicts who have been subjected to arco-flagellation or worse! Still, their pain is your gain, as you can look forward to adding three deadly Arco-flagellants and an awesome new Penitent Engine to your burgeoning Adepta Sororitas force. Those who have sinned against the Emperor face an existence that is fleeting and violent – perhaps their sacrifice will bring them a measure of absolution. The last model in the box is the Canoness. As befits one of the martial and spiritual leaders of the Orders Militant, she carries an ornate power sword, and leads her Battle Sisters into the fray with her rod of office. She is the perfect leader for your forces and a deadly combatant in her own right. After sifting through frame after frame of awesome new models, you’ll come across a certain Adepta Sororitas codex – and yes, we’re talking about the FULL CODEX! Not only that, but the codex features cover art that is exclusive to the Sisters of Battle Army Set! Flicking through the pages, you’ll see a detailed background of the Adepta Sororitas, including a timeline of key events from their war-torn history and entries for all of their units.
